What vaccinations should my pet have before their stay?
All pets must be fully vaccinated before staying with us. Dogs require up-to-date vaccinations for DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza), Rabies, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). Cats require vaccinations for FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) and Rabies. Please bring proof of vaccination when booking.
Can you accommodate puppies?
Yes, we welcome puppies! Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and have completed their first two rounds of vaccinations. Our team provides extra attention and care for younger guests, including supervised socialisation and gentle playtime to help them feel safe and comfortable.
Do you accommodate cats?
Absolutely! Our Kitty Village is specially designed for feline guests, featuring cozy suites with sunny spots, garden views, and even live bird entertainment. We also cater to specific dietary needs and provide personalised care to ensure every cat feels at home.
Should my pet be sterilised?
Yes, all pets over the age of six months must be sterilised, as per the City of Cape Town’s Animal By-Laws. If your pet is unsterilised due to a medical condition or other exemption, please provide proof of your permit from the City.

How much exercise and playtime will my dog get?
Your dog will enjoy extended outdoor playtime in our spacious farm setting for most part of the day, along with guided walks and socialisation with other dogs. We ensure they stay active, stimulated, and happy during their stay.
Can I bring my pet’s own food or treats?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your pet’s specific food or treats to maintain their routine. We also provide premium veterinary diets and wet food for cats, as well as options for dogs, which can be purchased from our on-site pet shop.
Should I bring my pet’s bedding?
We provide clean, comfortable bedding for all our guests to ensure they’re cozy and relaxed during their stay. If your pet has a favourite blanket or item that provides comfort, feel free to include it!
What if my pet requires medication or has special needs?
Our experienced team, including an on-site Veterinary Nurse, is equipped to handle pets with medical needs. Please provide detailed instructions and any necessary medication when booking. We take pride in catering for every pet’s personal needs.
Do you offer post-operative care?
Yes, we provide specialised post-operative care for pets recovering from surgery. We provide all the love and attention your pet needs, with our Veterinary Nurse on hand to ensure a smooth and comfortable recovery.
